I won’t waste any more time getting into it.

Here are the winners:The winner of the Cobalt Fiction Prize is Sandra Hunter, for her short story “Modern Jazz Parade.”

  • Runners-up in fiction are Mark Wagstaff’s “Ms. Smith and Eileen Kelley’s “Pusser.”

The winner of the Cobalt Nonfiction Prize is Chelsey Clammer, for her essay “I Have Been Thinking About…”

  • Runners-up in nonfiction are Cindy Zelman’s “Stuck in the Middle” and Marissa Korbel’s “Drawing Blood.”

The winner of the Cobalt Poetry Prize is Steven Leyva, for his poem “Rare in the East.”

  • Runners-up in poetry are Kevin McLellan’s “About Our Beginning” and “Grief Game” by Sandra Kolankiewicz.
